What if I lose my wristband?
Please keep your wristbands and receipts in a safe place. You’ll need a wristband to get into the festival. The Traverse City Wine & Cider Festival is not responsible for lost or stolen bands.
Can I bring in a chair or blanket for seating?
Yes. You may bring a chair or blanket into the festival for seating. The Traverse City Wine & Cider Festival is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Can a minor accompany a parent or guardian to the festival?
No. This is an alcohol-related event, and attendees must be 21 years of age and older. Regardless of your age, you’ll need a photo ID denoting age to get into the event.
Can I bring my newborn baby into the festival?
Newborn babies are allowed into the festival but must be carried at all times. No toddlers or children are permitted. No strollers or wagons are permitted.
Can I bring a cooler, food or beverages into the event?
No. Regional wine and food are the showcase of the festival and are readily available for purchase throughout the entire day.
What additional purchases should I anticipate during the festival?
Your ticket includes a complimentary tasting glass as well as 3 tasting tickets for 2-ounce pours. Wine pours is listed as 1 or 2 token pours, so it’s up to you which you choose. Additional tasting tokens are available for 2 for $5 or 5 for $10.
Food is available throughout the day for purchase. No coolers or packed food will be permitted within the festival grounds.
Please note that many of our food and art vendors may only accept cash during the festival.
